Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ReputeMaker processes personal data when you use our website, submit a request, or work with us as a client.
1. Data controller
ReputeMaker is the controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact: support@reputemaker.com.
2. What we collect
From contact/audit forms: name, brand or website, phone or email, and optional message text.
Technically: IP address, browser type, pages visited, approximate location derived from IP, and cookie identifiers as described in the Cookie Policy.
In client projects: account logins you choose to share, brand materials, and correspondence needed to deliver the service.
3. Why we process data
To respond to requests and provide audits or services; to operate the website and client cabinet; to improve content and security; and to comply with legal obligations.
Legal bases may include your consent (forms, non-essential cookies), performance of a contract or pre-contract steps, and our legitimate interests in running and securing the business — balanced against your rights.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share data with processors that host the site, send email, provide analytics (if enabled), or payment tools — only as needed and under appropriate agreements.
We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights, safety and security.
5. Retention
Lead form data is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and related follow-up, then deleted or anonymised unless a longer period is required for legal or accounting reasons.
Client project records are retained for the contract term and a reasonable archive period afterwards.
6. Your rights
Depending on applicable law (including GDPR where it applies), you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise rights, email support@reputemaker.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
7. International transfers
We work with brands in many countries. If data is processed outside your country, we take steps appropriate to the transfer (such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards where required).
8. Children
The site and services are directed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy and will revise the date above. Questions: support@reputemaker.com.
